Art Garfunkel and NC Symphony (Art was horrible)
I am a die-hard fan of Simon and Garfunkel, but it was very sad to see and hear Art Garfunkel with Blue October last night struggle to sing. The Symphony did a great job and their playing was wonderful, but the hour that Art Garfunkel tried to sing was painful to hear. Don't get me wrong, I love Simon and Garfunkel. At times, the words didn't come out at all, but when they did, he struggled and often was off key and screeching. I felt horrible for him knowing that he has had throat issues for some time. I just wish he would go out on a positive note - for his own sake. It was very painful to sit through. I don't want to sound mean, I just don't know how he will sing a second night when he didn't make it through the first. Sorry, just being honest and he sounds nothing like he used to.
